info
The American Collectibles Museum was created in 2011 to promote these objectives - Preserve collectibles as cultural archives, promote collecting as a wholesome family-oriented activity, assist collector organizations with meeting their objectives to promote growth and to provide the public with general information about collectibles.
As you know, goals change over time to reflect the needs of the organization. Currently, our goals are:
First, expand the Board of Directors to be more representative of the community which we serve.
Second, locate a larger space for a Home for the Museum
Third, promote a volunteer effort to assist with this assembly effort as well the display of collections.
Fourth, invite the public's participation and input into the museum's activities in order to make sure that the museum is able to help promote collectibles activities wherever it can in order to make the community a better place in which to live and grow.
Fifth, develop programs for use by the school systems for educational purposes highlighting collectibles as the educational medium...such as historical presentations.
