The American Collectibles Museum was founded in 2011 as an IRS 501 (c) (3) Not-For-Profit Organization. Its purpose is to promote collecting and collectibles through various means to include the display of the museum's collections, by providing support and programs to collector organizations, by developing and supporting after school programs for children involving collectibles such as stamp collecting, button collecting, and so forth, and by providing information about collectibles as cultural artifacts to the general public. All donations to the museum are tax deductible.
